This event creates an opportunity to ask how you, existing and aspiring community groups, historians and researchers, wish to engage with industrial heritage in and around the Swansea Valley in the future. Tidy-up session – litter picking and weeding

A merry band of volunteers will be gathering on the site on Thursday 9th March between 4.30 and 7pm to tidy up the site of litter and weeds. We always welcome more volunteers. Work sessions are always fun and sociable and a great opportunity to explore the site and deepen your connection to it and the work that is going on to develop it. Volunteer session: wild flower meadow maintenance

The wildflowers have been looking fantastic at the site this summer, and includes a good variety of species including poppy, daisy, clover, cornflower, viper's bugloss, evening primrose, cornflower and bramble. There are also a few flowers that are doing a little two well, ribbed melilot and a yellow flowering brassica that we need to manage.
